Here’s an easy way to see Google’s cache of any web page in Firefox:
1. Create a new bookmark - I named mine “Cache” so it appears as a rather small button on my toolbar
2. For the location (url) enter the following:
javascript:void(location.href=’http://www.google.com/search?q=cache:’+encodeURIComponent(location.href))
Now when you’re on any web page, you simply click your new bookmark and it will pull Google’s cached version of the page you’re viewing.

Here are a few web-based apps worth checking out:
Scrumy
Scrumy is a free todo list app that is extremely simple to use… so simple in fact, that you can create a public, shareable todo list instantly without even registering any information. You simply create a new todo list by entering the Scrumy url with your project name on the end like this: http://www.scrumy.com/fishproject (go ahead and play with it… it’s a junk one I just made)
Instructions: If you use Twitter, you’ll love the simplicity of Scrumy… They refer to projects as “stories” - so to create a new project you simply click “New Story”…. then to add tasks you click the plus sign next to the project. After that it’s all drag-n-drop thanks to the beauty of web 2.0. (As you type tasks they may turn grey - this simply means that the entire text won’t be shown on the sticky note unless the user clicks/hovers on it.)
Toodledo
While we’re on the subject of task managers, Toodledo is a fantasticly robust task manager that syncs with Google Calendar and has all the bells and whistles - similar to Outlook’s task manager only web-based. They offer both basic (free) and more advanced (paid) versions.
Senduit
Senduit (”Send You It”) is a free file-sharing service similiar to Rapidshare. Like it’s more popular cousin, Senduit allows you to upload a file (up to 100MB) then generates a simple url you can pass on to clients/friends/etc via email or whatever so they can easily download the file. You can also specify an expiration date for the file, (30 minutes to 1 week) at which time it will be deleted off of their server. Again, if you use Twitter, this is like Tinyurl for files rather than just links.

As this site is just starting out, I’d like some opinions on something. As you can see, I’ve created an inspiration category for the site, and plan on adding to it on a regular basis. I don’t have very many visitors yet, but value your opinions.
Should I:
- Make frequent, 1 site posts (like my previous one) on a daily basis or..
- Make less frequent (weekly?) posts, that are a collection of great sites, such as “25 Fantastic Photo Collections”
Please feel free to comment and let me know your thoughts on this. I’d appreciate any input.
Also: If you had previously subscribed to my rss feed, please unsubscribe and resubscribe. I decided to try feedburner. Sorry, and thanks a bunch.
